What are the reasons for a small amount of bleeding during non-menstrual period?

As the saying goes, a healthy beggar is happier than a sick king. Everyone should pay attention to health, especially women. Various physiological diseases are not only due to imperfect treatment methods, but also to how we treat our bodies. Normal women have menstruation every month, but what about some women? They will occasionally have vaginal bleeding after or before menstruation. So, what are the reasons for a small amount of bleeding during non-menstrual periods? Let's take a look.

1) The vaginal wall is not fully expanded during first intercourse or the intercourse is too quick or too violent, which can easily cause tearing of the vaginal wall. This is more common in girls who have eaten the forbidden fruit. Generally speaking, the female vagina is elastic and has many vertical and horizontal wrinkles, which makes it easy to expand and not tear. The vaginal development of girls is not yet perfect. If they are too nervous during the first intercourse, the muscles will contract and the force will be too strong, which can easily cause tearing.

2) Vaginal bleeding between two periods after the menstruation is over may be physiological or pathological. The former is most commonly vaginal bleeding during ovulation, characterized by mild lower abdominal pain and discomfort during a small amount of bleeding, and basal body temperature changes during ovulation. The latter is characterized by cervical erosion, polyps or cervical cancer, especially after sexual intercourse, because the contact and friction of the sexual organs damage the lesion and congestion, causing blood oozing.

3) If the menstrual period does not come, and vaginal bleeding occurs 7-10 days later, it is necessary to distinguish whether it is caused by menstruation or pathological reasons. The former is similar to the regularity of menstruation. The latter has no such regularity, with more and less bleeding at times, and continuous bleeding. If accompanied by abdominal pain, more attention should be paid, because this situation is more common in ectopic pregnancy or threatened abortion.

4) The amount of menstrual blood increases, the duration is longer, and the dysmenorrhea is more obvious. This situation is more common in uterine fibroids or endometriosis.

5) If you used to have normal menstruation, but recently you have continuous bleeding, this is mostly caused by disease and needs to be checked in time. Most of them may be inflammation or cancer in the uterus. If it is after a spontaneous abortion or artificial abortion, vaginal bleeding usually stops in 3-7 days, and normal menstruation resumes after one month. However, if you have continuous bleeding, it is likely that there is residual fetal membrane tissue in the uterus. If so, you should have a curettage and remove it as soon as possible, otherwise the residual fetal membrane tissue may turn into choriocarcinoma after a period of time. In addition, it may also be caused by inflammation in the uterus or damage to the cervix, which can be easily diagnosed by further examination.

6) For women who have had hydatidiform mole and whose condition has improved after treatment and whose menstruation has returned to normal, if they experience abnormal, heavy vaginal bleeding again within two years, it may be an early symptom of malignant hydatidiform mole and diagnosis should not be delayed.

7) There are two possibilities for vaginal bleeding in postmenopausal women, especially after the age of 60. For some women who still have sex, due to the change of endocrine after menopause, the vagina is dry, and it is easy to rub and bleed during sex. Therefore, if there is a feeling of dryness during intercourse, a small amount of ointment (such as tetracycline ointment) should be applied on the male glans before intercourse, which can reduce this mechanical damage and improve the sexual effect of both parties. However, menopausal women must remember: unexplained vaginal bleeding after menopause is not a good thing, because with the increase of age, the incidence of cervical cancer and uterine cancer increases significantly. If these early manifestations of vaginal bleeding are not taken seriously, the diagnosis is delayed, and the opportunity for early treatment is lost, it will be a lifelong regret.

After reading the above description, I believe everyone has a deeper understanding of the minor bleeding that is not during menstruation. The cause of this disease varies from person to person, but I hope that most women will go to the hospital for a check-up this morning to avoid any serious disease. If you miss the opportunity for early treatment, the consequences will be disastrous. I hope the above can help everyone, and I hope everyone has a great body.
