What causes cervical erosion? Cervical erosion is mainly caused by four reasons

With the development of modern society, many gynecological diseases are becoming younger and younger, such as uterine diseases. Today, let’s talk about the main factors that endanger women’s cervical health.

After cervical erosion occurs, the leucorrhea often increases and becomes thicker, and may occasionally be purulent or bloody, accompanied by low back pain, abdominal pain, and a feeling of heaviness in the lower abdomen. Sexual intercourse may also cause contact bleeding or odor.

There are four main causes of cervical erosion:

1. Multiple artificial abortions

Multiple abortions, diagnostic curettage, cervical dilation and other gynecological surgeries caused by premarital sex may lead to cervical injury or inflammation, and ultimately cause cervical erosion.

2. Unclean sexual life

Since premarital sex is mostly kept secret, and young people do not have a stable source of income and cannot create a stable and clean sexual environment, the chances of getting sick are greatly increased.

3. Excessive cleaning

There are many female cleaning products on the market. If they are not chosen properly and a high concentration of disinfectant is used to flush the vagina, it will not only affect the growth of normal vaginal flora and reduce its ability to inhibit bacteria, but it will also cause varying degrees of cervical epithelial damage and eventually erosion.

4. Early sexual activity and too many sexual partners

Premarital sex is a common phenomenon among young people today. Premature sexual activity, frequent changes of sexual partners, and excessive sexual intensity (more than 4 times a week) are causes of cervical erosion that cannot be ignored.

Because young women lack self-protection awareness, they often become the ultimate victims of sexually transmitted diseases, and are unwilling to seek medical treatment for various reasons after becoming ill. If women with cervical erosion are not examined and treated in time, their chances of developing cervical cancer are 7 times that of healthy people.

Warm reminder: Paying attention to sexual hygiene, avoiding repeated miscarriages, properly cleaning the vulva and having regular gynecological examinations are the key to staying away from cervical erosion.
