Smart weight loss! First understand the mechanism of ATP turning into fat

People need to eat and maintain life by converting three meals a day into energy. If we can further understand the mechanism of action, it will help us better understand the necessity of exercise to burn fat.

We eat grains, fish, meat, vegetables, tofu and other foods to get the nutrients necessary for life. Protein, sugar (carbohydrates) and fat are the three essential nutrients for the human body.

Their components are amino acids, glucose and fatty acids, and no matter which one, they will eventually be broken down into acetyl coenzyme A (Acetyl-CoA) in the body. In other words, no matter what you eat, it will eventually become acetyl coenzyme A. There is no other possibility.

After becoming acetyl coenzyme A, there are only two paths for it to go: becoming adenosine triphosphate (ATP) or fat. Next, I will explain the ATP path (the right path).

Using acetyl coenzyme A as the raw material → extracting hydrogen from food → synthesizing ATP. This is the only correct way to convert food into energy. ATP is equivalent to the energy we need for daily life. All food becomes energy through this (metabolic) pathway.

For most people, ATP may be an unfamiliar term. They only know that its alphabetical order is exactly opposite to the abbreviation of "Parent-Teacher Association" PTA (Parent-Teacher Association). However, it is an extremely important substance for life.

Just as cars need gasoline to run (and, more recently, electric cars), humans need ATP to survive, and so do all living things on Earth.

When it comes to the energy that living things rely on to survive, it is only ATP. ATP is synthesized in the mitochondria of cells, and all living things must rely on it to supply the energy needed for life (the only exception is viruses that do not have their own mitochondria and do not produce ATP on their own, but instead plunder it from other organisms).

ATP is the abbreviation of adenosine triphosphate, A stands for adenosine, T stands for tri, and P stands for phosphate.

If the ATP supply is interrupted for just three minutes, the organism will not be able to return to its original state, leaving behind certain irreversible damage. Although ATP is the source of life-giving energy, the human body cannot store it (only a small amount can be stored in the muscles).

From this point of view, ATP is like the "cash" needed to survive.
