Diet for multiple uterine fibroids

Diet for multiple uterine fibroids

Diet for multiple uterine fibroids:

Foods that cannot be consumed by patients with uterine fibroids include:

1. Don't be greedy for cold food: Women with poor gastrointestinal function should avoid raw and cold food before and during menstruation, such as cold drinks, raw and cold vegetables, crabs, snails, clam meat, leeches, pears, persimmons, watermelons, bananas, bitter melon, mangosteen, mung beans, cucumbers, water chestnuts, grapefruits, oranges, etc., so as to avoid condensation of blood stasis and aggravation of dysmenorrhea.

2. Do not eat sour food: Acidic food has a solid astringent effect, which makes the blood astringent and is not conducive to the smooth flow and discharge of menstrual blood. Therefore, patients with dysmenorrhea should try to avoid eating such food during menstruation. Acidic foods include rice vinegar, hot and sour vegetables, kimchi, pomegranate, green plum, bayberry, strawberry, carambola, cherry, jujube, mango, apricot, plum, lemon, etc.

3. Do not eat spicy food: some patients with dysmenorrhea have excessive menstruation, and then eat spicy, warm, irritating food, which will aggravate pelvic congestion and inflammation, or cause excessive contraction of uterine muscles, aggravating dysmenorrhea. For example, pepper, pepper, garlic, onion, ginger, leek, chicken soup, durian, spicy condiments, etc., patients with dysmenorrhea should try to eat less or no spicy food.

4. Do not eat foods that are hot, blood-clotting, or contain hormones, such as longan, red dates, donkey-hide gelatin, and royal jelly.
