Cervical erosion is a disease suffered by many female friends. It brings great trouble to female friends. In fact, the word "erosion" in cervical erosion is different from our traditional erosion. Cervical erosion is a manifestation of chronic cervicitis. We must understand the specific manifestations of cervical erosion so that we can diagnose the disease and adopt appropriate treatment methods. Cervical erosion generally manifests itself in several symptoms. You can refer to them. Cervical erosion will cause increased leucorrhea and vulvar itching. Cervical erosion will also cause frequent urination or difficulty urinating. Severe cases will also affect pregnancy. Cervical erosion is divided into Grade I cervical erosion, Grade II cervical erosion, and Grade III cervical erosion according to the extent of erosion. Cervical erosion is not erosion in the true sense, but a manifestation of chronic cervicitis. When the epidermis of the external cervical os is shed and replaced by another epithelial tissue of the cervical os, the new epithelium covering the surface is thin, and even the blood vessels and red tissue underneath can be seen, which looks like erosion. Symptoms: Cervical erosion is the most common local feature of chronic metritis. Due to the infiltration of inflammatory secretions, the squamous epithelium of the cervix falls off and is replaced by the columnar epithelium of the cervical canal, which manifests as cervical erosion. The main symptoms are: 1. Increased leucorrhea: Increased leucorrhea is the main symptom of this disease. Usually the leucorrhea is milky white or light yellow purulent secretion, sometimes bloody or mixed with blood. 2. Vulvar itching and pain: The vulva and vagina may be stimulated by increased leucorrhea, which may lead to vulvitis or vaginitis and cause vulvar itching and pain. 3. Pain in the lower abdomen and lumbosacral region: When the inflammation is severe, it can spread along the uterosacral ligament and cardinal ligament and lead to pelvic connective tissue inflammation, causing pain in the lower abdomen or lumbosacral region, accompanied by a feeling of falling. 4. Frequent urination or difficulty urinating: When the inflammation spreads to the bladder trigone or around the bladder, frequent urination or difficulty urinating may occur. 5. Infertility: Thick leucorrhea is not conducive to sperm penetration, so severe cervicitis can cause infertility. Above we explained what cervical erosion is. We know that this disease of cervical erosion brings great trouble to women, so once we diagnose the disease, we must actively treat cervical erosion. We can judge whether we have cervical erosion based on the symptoms of cervical erosion explained above. |
