What causes habitual miscarriage? You should know these influencing factors

The causes of habitual miscarriage in women include uterine factors, endocrine factors, genetic factors, immune factors, environmental factors, etc. For habitual miscarriage, women should first find out the specific reasons for it, and then take targeted measures to avoid the recurrence of miscarriage.

If a woman has three or more miscarriages in a row after becoming pregnant, it is medically called habitual miscarriage. Currently, if it happens more than twice, it is also considered habitual miscarriage. Habitual miscarriage greatly troubles infertile couples and their families. So, what causes habitual miscarriage?
1. Uterine factors
Uterine malformations, poor uterine blood supply, endometrial steroid receptor deficiency, submucosal uterine fibroids, intrauterine adhesions, and cervical insufficiency may all lead to habitual miscarriage.
2. Endocrine factors : Women's hormone changes will be very obvious after pregnancy, and hormone changes play an important role in maintaining pregnancy. If women have endocrine dysfunction, such as insufficient secretion of primary chorionic gonadotropin, insufficient secretion of primary progesterone, and dysfunction of the adrenal cortex, thyroid gland, pancreas, etc., it will also affect the formation of the ovaries and corpus luteum, thereby affecting the normal development of the embryo and causing miscarriage.
3. Genetic factors
Habitual miscarriage in women may also be caused by abnormalities in the chromosome structure and number of the embryo. This situation is mostly caused by chromosome abnormalities in one or both spouses. In addition, some spouses may not have chromosome abnormalities, but it does not rule out chromosome abnormalities in the fetus.
IV. Immune factors
If ABO blood type incompatibility occurs, the fetus may suffer from hemolytic disease, and its incidence is higher than that of Rh blood type incompatibility. ABO blood type incompatibility is mainly manifested as early neonatal jaundice, but some may also cause habitual abortion.
5. Other factors
If a pregnant woman suffers from systemic lupus erythematosus, chronic renal insufficiency, or vaginal or cervical infection with certain fungi or viruses, it may also cause miscarriage. In addition, chronic placental insufficiency can also lead to late miscarriage, stillbirth, etc. A poor living environment for pregnant women, such as long-term exposure to noise, high temperature, or long-term exposure to toxic chemicals, may cause habitual miscarriage.
