What is intrauterine fluid?

There are physiological and pathological differences in intrauterine fluid effusion. It may be caused by inflammation. It is recommended to go to the hospital for examination as soon as possible. If you have lower abdominal pain, chronic endometritis, enlarged and soft uterus, tenderness, etc., it is recommended to do an examination as soon as possible so that you can get targeted treatment and let the body recover and recover sooner.

Many women have heard of the term intrauterine effusion, but they do not know what it means. Because of this, many people do not know what symptoms will appear in intrauterine effusion, and thus ignore it. There are many reasons for the formation of intrauterine effusion, and many women do not know what kind of disease it is and whether it is serious. So what is intrauterine effusion?
First of all, the location is in the uterine cavity. The upper two sides are connected to the fallopian tubes in the uterine horns, so the source of secretion may be the fallopian tubes; the lower side is connected to the cervical canal, so the source of secretion may be the cervical canal mucosa; the inner surface of the uterine cavity is covered with endometrium, which may be the secretion of the functional layer of the endometrium, or endometrial lesions such as polyps, hyperplasia, precancerous lesions or endometrial cancer; the uterine cavity forms a scar diverticulum due to cesarean section, and an additional trench is added on the way for menstrual blood to be discharged from the fundus of the uterus to the cervix, so part of the menstrual blood is intercepted to form fluid accumulation; in addition, there may be foreign bodies, such as intrauterine contraceptive device, also called intrauterine ring, pregnancy product is a semi-allogeneic transplant, pregnancy tissue residues after abortion or uterine curettage, etc.
If it is caused by acute inflammation of the fallopian tube, endometrium, or cervicitis, it will be a light yellow or purulent effusion; if it is cancerous in any of the above three parts, it may be bloody; if it is a foreign body or physical inflammation, it may be a light yellow secretion; if it is the residue of pregnancy tissue, it is related to the size of the residue, and generally there may be unclean vaginal spotting, and some people may have no symptoms; the normal uterine cavity is fitted front to back, and after uterine cavity operation or postpartum, the uterus is poorly restored and the uterine smooth muscle contraction function is poor, which may lead to uterine cavity effusion.
There are also postmenopausal endometrial atrophy, uterine atrophy, asymptomatic intrauterine fluid, and other less common causes.
Physiological effusion usually occurs around the time of ovulation. At this time, the endometrium of a woman undergoes changes during the secretory phase, and therefore there are many glands. The products secreted by these glands may cause physiological effusion in the uterine cavity. However, physiological effusion can generally disappear on its own, so no special treatment is required.
In addition, the rest is basically pathological effusion, which requires treatment of the primary disease. For patients with uterine effusion and lower abdominal pain, this is often the result of pelvic inflammatory disease. Because the pelvic area is large and the inflammation may affect the patient's peritoneum, it is necessary to take medication as soon as possible and cooperate with surgical treatment when necessary.
