How long does it take for an ectopic pregnancy test strip to detect an ectopic pregnancy?

Pregnancy is something worth celebrating for a family, but things are unpredictable. Pregnant women are likely to be attacked by various diseases during pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancy is like a terrible nightmare. If pregnant women do not find it in time, once abdominal bleeding occurs, the situation is very critical. So, how long will it take for an ectopic pregnancy test paper to detect it?

Test strips cannot detect ectopic pregnancy, so no matter what stage of pregnancy you take the test, you cannot be sure whether there is an ectopic pregnancy.
Women in early pregnancy should go to the hospital for B-ultrasound examination to exclude ectopic pregnancy as early as 5 weeks of pregnancy. If you experience abnormal symptoms of ectopic pregnancy such as lower abdominal pain, vaginal bleeding, sudden fainting, shock, etc. in early pregnancy, you should see a doctor immediately to check the cause. If an ectopic pregnancy ruptures, there will be tearing pain on one side of the lower abdomen, and there may be heavy vaginal bleeding. The situation is very critical and should not be ignored.
There are many ways to check for ectopic pregnancy, and blood HCG test is one of them that can help rule it out. If the blood HCG level is lower than that of a normal pregnancy after several consecutive tests, it can indicate the possibility of ectopic pregnancy, but reliable and accurate judgment still needs to be combined with B-ultrasound examination, so blood test cannot determine whether it is an ectopic pregnancy.
B-ultrasound examination is the most accurate and reliable method to diagnose ectopic pregnancy. B-ultrasound examination can clearly see the location, size and shape of the gestational sac, as well as the embryo and fetal heart rate. It can determine whether it is a single pregnancy or a multiple pregnancy, understand whether it is a normal intrauterine pregnancy, and rule out the possibility of abnormal pregnancy.
In addition, the serum P level of ectopic pregnancy is low, but it is relatively stable at 5 to 10 weeks of pregnancy, and a single measurement has a greater diagnostic value. Although there is overlap between normal and abnormal pregnancy serum P levels, it is difficult to determine the absolute critical value between them, but serum P levels below 10ng/m1 (radioimmunoassay) often indicate abnormal pregnancy, and its accuracy is about 90%.
