Can ectopic pregnancy be detected by urine test? Go to the hospital for B-ultrasound examination

Nowadays, with the continuous development and progress of medical technology, there are many ways to verify pregnancy. The more commonly used methods are pregnancy test sticks, pregnancy test strips, ultrasound examinations, and blood tests. Ectopic pregnancy is a very harmful ectopic pregnancy. Once the situation is very critical, you need to go to the hospital for treatment in time. So, can ectopic pregnancy be detected by urine test?

Although ectopic pregnancy is a type of ectopic pregnancy, it is also considered pregnancy, so a urine test will show two red lines. However, a urine test can only test whether you are pregnant, and cannot tell whether you have an ectopic pregnancy. If you want to know whether it is an ectopic pregnancy, it is best to go to the hospital for an ultrasound examination, which can determine the location of the gestational sac.
Common ways to check for ectopic pregnancy
1. Blood HCG test: There are many ways to check for ectopic pregnancy, and blood HCG test is one of them. If the blood HCG level is lower than that of normal pregnancy after several consecutive tests, it can indicate the possibility of ectopic pregnancy, but reliable and accurate judgment still needs to be combined with B-ultrasound examination, so blood test cannot determine whether it is ectopic pregnancy.
2. Ultrasound diagnosis: B-ultrasound examination is particularly commonly used for the diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy. Vaginal B-ultrasound examination is more accurate than abdominal B-ultrasound examination. B-ultrasound examination can clearly see the position, size and shape of the gestational sac, and can also check the embryo and fetal heart rate. It can determine whether it is a single pregnancy or a multiple pregnancy, understand whether it is a normal intrauterine pregnancy, and rule out the possibility of abnormal pregnancy.
3. Laparoscopic examination: In most cases, early ectopic pregnancy can be diagnosed after medical history, gynecological examination, blood β-HCG measurement, and B-ultrasound examination. However, for some cases that are more difficult to diagnose, examination under direct laparoscope can provide a clear diagnosis in time and surgical treatment can be performed at the same time.
