Cervical erosion is very common among women of childbearing age. Women of childbearing age who have visited some informal clinics have often been diagnosed with this disease. Most women who have been diagnosed with this disease are always worried and even deceived by some unscrupulous doctors into thinking that they will soon get cervical cancer. They often spend a lot of money on treatment under such lies. Liu Hua hereby solemnly reminds everyone that there is no need to panic if you suffer from cervical erosion. Next, let me tell you what the physiological structure of the normal cervix is like. The epithelial cells covering the cervix are divided into two types: stratified squamous epithelium and columnar epithelium. The former is located on the surface of the cervix, and the latter is located in the endocervical canal. The junction of the two epithelia is called the "squamocolumnar junction". During the fetal period of women, the squamous epithelium grows to the external os of the cervix and is adjacent to the columnar epithelium of the endocervical canal, forming a "primitive squamoscolumnar junction". This junction is not fixed in position. In women of childbearing age, under the action of estrogen, the columnar epithelium of the endocervical canal moves outward. Because the columnar epithelium is thinner than the squamous epithelium at this position and is a single layer, the blood vessels and red stroma underneath can be seen under the light of the examination lamp. Therefore, the original cervical position seen by the naked eye appears red and granular, and the appearance gives people a feeling of "erosion". Therefore, the essence of "cervical erosion" is the displacement of columnar epithelium under the influence of physiological state, not erosion, but a physiological phenomenon. Therefore, there is no need to panic. Here, we call on all women to have regular screening for cervical lesions every year, and recommend that everyone go to a regular hospital for screening. The diagnosis of true cervical precancerous lesions and cervical cancer has nothing to do with "cervical erosion". Please don't believe in the fallacy that "cervicitis is a precursor to cervical cancer"! |
