Protect women's health and know the symptoms of endometritis early!

Endometritis is one of the common gynecological diseases. This disease not only causes other inflammatory complications, but also affects female fertility in severe cases. Therefore, we should understand the symptoms of endometritis in order to help us detect the disease in time and nip it in the bud. Let's follow the doctor to learn more.

Many women suffer from gynecological diseases in life, especially endometritis and other problems. It is a common high incidence rate. As a woman, it is necessary to discover it in time, give targeted treatment in time, and take good physical adjustment measures to help their bodies be healthier. What does endometritis indicate? What are the symptoms of endometritis? (1) Abdominal pain and discomfort The so-called endometritis mainly refers to the inflammatory changes in the structure of the endometrium, which causes a series of diseases and damages to the endometrium. When it comes to the manifestations of endometritis, many patients may have lower abdominal pain and discomfort in the early stages of the disease, but there are no specific symptoms due to this condition.

(2) Irregular menstruation As endometritis continues to develop, especially when the inflammation spreads to the myometrium, myometritis may form. When the disease is not treated promptly and effectively, the spread of inflammation may develop into pelvic inflammatory disease. When the problem of pelvic infection occurs, it will greatly affect the normal menstruation, so the patient may have irregular menstruation. (3) Postmenopausal vaginal bleeding Most patients with endometritis are elderly women. But it is worth noting that endometritis bleeds less, so in many cases it will not attract attention until it is finally discovered that the condition is more serious. In fact, endometritis has many symptoms. Female friends must pay active attention in daily life. If there are abnormal symptoms, it is best to treat them in time and give targeted examinations and treatments as soon as possible.

Endometritis can be divided into acute and chronic according to the length of the course of the disease, and the symptoms presented are also different.

Symptoms of endometritis

1. During the gynecological examination, purulent white discharge was found at the cervical opening, the cervix was tender, and there was mild tenderness in the uterus. Laboratory examinations showed that the white blood cell count and neutrophil count increased.

2. The patient may also experience mild fever symptoms and persistent distension and pain in the lower abdomen.

3. Leucorrhea will have abnormal changes, the amount will increase and become purulent and have a foul smell, and sometimes bloody. If acute endometritis occurs during the puerperium, lochia will continue to drip and have a foul smell. This is mainly caused by Escherichia coli and anaerobic hemolytic streptococci or Staphylococcus aureus. The lochia will be less and there will be no obvious foul smell. Note that this can easily spread through the lymph.

If acute endometritis is not treated in time, it will turn into chronic endometritis. The symptoms are mainly as follows:

1. Menstruation becomes irregular or abnormal uterine bleeding occurs

2. There will be a feeling of heaviness and pain in the lower abdomen, and the amount of leucorrhea will increase.

3. The uterus is enlarged and tender, and the tissues around the uterus are thickened and tender. If the elderly suffer from chronic endometritis, it will also cause vaginal bleeding after menstruation, and the leucorrhea will increase, become thinner or bloody.

Finally, we still want to remind everyone that if you have endometritis, you must go to the hospital for examination and treatment in time to avoid missing the treatment opportunity and causing unnecessary trouble. Gynecologists remind women that sometimes gynecological inflammation is unavoidable, so when you have symptoms such as private itching, odor, abnormal vaginal discharge, etc., you need to go to the hospital for examination and treatment in time, otherwise it will turn into endometritis and the difficulty of cure will increase.
