How to treat vulvar leukoplakia with traditional Chinese medicine

How does TCM treat vulvar leukoplakia? Don't underestimate vulvar leukoplakia, a gynecological disease. Although it is relatively common, the harm it brings is very great. Patients will experience unbearable itching of the vulva, and in severe cases, other complications will occur. Nowadays, many people choose TCM for treatment. So, how does TCM treat vulvar leukoplakia?

1. Oral prescription: 15g each of Chinese Angelica, Rehmannia glutinosa, and Epimedium, 12g each of Chuanxiong, White Peony Root, Paeonia suffruticosa, Achyranthes bidentata, and Cuscuta australis, 20g each of Millettia reticulata, Psoralea corylifolia, and Cistanche deserticola. Decoction in water, one dose per day.

15g of Phellodendron chinense, 15g of Atractylodes lancea, 30g of Cnidium monnieri, 30g of Sophora flavescens, 12g of Nepeta tenuifolia, 6g of Paeonia lactiflora, 6g of Safflower, and 20g of Astragalus. Add water to the above medicines and decoct them to remove the residue for later use. When the liquid medicine is at a suitable temperature, take a sitz bath twice a day. Each dose of medicine can be used 2-4 times. If the patient is allergic to Cnidium monnieri, Sophora flavescens, and Paeonia lactiflora, 30g of Dictamni, 20g of Kochia scoparia, and 6g of Salvia miltiorrhiza can be used instead. For scleroderma type, 10g of Curcuma zedoaria can be added.

In addition, external application medicine is required. For hyperplastic type, use vulvar ointment No. I, for hard atrophy type, use vulvar ointment No. II, and for mixed type, use the two medicines alternately. After Chinese medicine sitz bath, apply it locally, twice a day. This prescription is suitable for vulvar white lesions with damp-heat and blood stasis in the liver meridian.

2. Fumigation and washing prescription: 30g each of Polygonum multiflorum, Radix Rehmanniae, Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Radix Paeoniae Rubrae, Radix Sophorae Flavescentis, Fructus Cnidii, and Radix Stemonae. Wrap it with gauze, put it in a basin and boil it for 20 minutes, then add 6g each of realgar and borneol. After 5 minutes, remove the gauze and wash the affected area for 15-20 minutes. Take one dose a day and wash twice a day. Generally, significant effect can be achieved after 14 doses.

30g of Cnidium monnieri, 30g of Sophora flavescens, 30g of Forsythia suspensa, 20g of Angelica sinensis, 20g of Lonicera japonica, 6g of Borneolum (added later). Boil the above medicines for later use. Take the liquid for sitz bath. Twice a day, 20-30 minutes each time, one dose per day. i After sitz bath, apply 0.1‰ of courtship ointment to the affected area. One course of treatment is 2 weeks. It is used for white lesions of the vulva.

Warm reminder: Patients should abstain from sexual intercourse and spicy food during treatment. Patients should pay attention to lifestyle adjustment, eat more foods rich in vitamins, wear loose cotton underwear, avoid nylon or chemical fiber products, and do not use potassium permanganate solution or soap to wash the vulva.
