The main diagnostic criteria for pelvic peritonitis

The main diagnostic criteria for pelvic peritonitis

Many people in life will suffer from pelvic peritonitis. This disease makes women suffer a lot. Many women will also experience dysmenorrhea during menstruation. Everyone should pay attention to the development of this disease, conduct reasonable examinations, and make effective diagnoses. So, what are the examination methods for confirming pelvic peritonitis?

1. Pathogen culture. Now the new relatively rapid chlamydial enzyme assay has replaced the traditional chlamydia detection method. Mammalian cell culture can also be used for chlamydial antigen detection.

2. Laparoscopic examination: If it is not diffuse peritonitis and the patient is in general good condition, laparoscopy can be performed on patients with pelvic peritonitis or suspected pelvic peritonitis and other acute abdomen. Laparoscopy can not only make a clear diagnosis and differential diagnosis, but also make a preliminary judgment on the degree of pelvic peritonitis to check whether the patient has pelvic peritonitis.

3. Ultrasound examination: mainly B-type or grayscale ultrasound scanning and filming. This technology has an 85% accuracy in identifying masses or abscesses formed by adhesions of the fallopian tubes, ovaries and intestines. However, mild or moderate pelvic peritonitis is difficult to show characteristics in B-type ultrasound images.

4. Direct smear sampling of secretions: Vaginal mucus, cervical canal secretions, urethral secretions, peritoneal fluid, etc. can be directly used for thin layer smears. After drying, they are stained with methylene blue or Gram, and then the disease can be identified based on whether it is negative or positive.
