Early symptoms of endometrial tuberculosis

Early symptoms of endometrial tuberculosis

Many female friends have heard of endometrial tuberculosis, but most of them do not have enough knowledge and understanding of the disease. This is a common gynecological disease, which is more common in women of childbearing age. In daily life, this disease has certain symptoms. Now we ask experts to give you a detailed introduction to the manifestations of endometrial tuberculosis.

Symptoms 1. Excessive menstruation: Patients often experience increased menstrual volume and prolonged menstrual period, which may be due to increased endometrium, but is often accompanied by ovarian dysfunction.

Symptoms 2. Dysmenorrhea: especially shortened menstrual cycle, frequent menstruation, heavy menstrual flow, prolonged menstruation, abdominal pain during menstruation, etc. These menstrual disorders increase the frequency and amount of menstrual blood flowing from the fallopian tube to the pelvic cavity. Patients with abdominal pain during menstruation, especially those with severe abdominal pain, will experience strong uterine contraction due to increased secretion of prostaglandins in the blood, and increase the chance of menstrual blood backflow and the freeing of endometrial fragments. This is a common and prominent symptom, mostly secondary, that is, starting from the occurrence of endometrial tuberculosis.

Symptom 3: Pain during sexual intercourse: Endometrial tuberculosis occurring in the rectouterine fossa and vaginal rectal septum causes swelling of the surrounding tissues and affects sexual life, with the discomfort becoming more severe before menstruation.

Symptoms 4. Infertility: Pelvic endometrial tuberculosis can often cause adhesions around the fallopian tubes, affecting the collection of oocytes or causing tubal obstruction, or ovarian lesions affecting the normal ovulation and causing female infertility.

Symptom 5. Malposition of the uterus: The normal position of the uterus is forward tilted and flexed to facilitate the outflow of menstrual blood. If the uterus is retroverted or flexed, especially to a severe degree, it can easily cause poor outflow of menstrual blood, accumulation of blood in the uterine cavity, and increase of pressure in the uterine cavity, creating conditions for the menstrual blood to flow back into the abdominal cavity.

Symptom 6. Stool swelling: usually occurs before or after menstruation. The patient feels unbearable pain when stool passes through the rectum, but does not feel this at other times. It is a typical symptom of tuberculosis of the uterine rectal fossa and endometrium near the rectum. Occasionally, the tuberculous endometrium reaches deep into the rectal mucosa, resulting in rectal bleeding during menstruation.

From the above introduction, we can see that the symptoms of endometrial tuberculosis are quite obvious. If you find yourself experiencing the above-mentioned situation in your life, you should worry about whether the disease is at work. I hope the above introduction can help you.
