What are the TCM classifications of pelvic peritonitis?

According to the symptoms of this disease, such as lower abdominal pain, increased leucorrhea, pelvic mass and infertility, it can be classified into the category of "female abdominal pain", "leucorrhea" and "infertility" in TCM gynecology. The occurrence of this disease is mostly due to the patient's weak constitution or careless health preservation, which is caused by infection with dampness and turbidity. Dampness blocks Chong and Ren meridians, and qi and blood are not smooth, which accumulates and turns into heat, which can become a syndrome of dampness and heat or blood stasis; if the dampness and turbidity are not eliminated, the spleen and kidney yang qi will be damaged over time, and the dampness will turn into cold, which can cause the syndrome of cold dampness stagnation.

Damp-heat descending type: Symptoms include lower abdominal pain that is sometimes mild and sometimes severe, which is more painful when pressed, soreness and pain in the lumbar region, heavy vaginal discharge, yellowish color, and a foul odor. Or accompanied by swelling and discomfort in the anus, low-grade fever, dry mouth and no desire to drink, poor appetite, loose stools and discomfort, and yellow urine. The tongue is red with a yellow and greasy coating, and the pulse is slippery and rapid.

Stasis-heat syndrome: Symptoms include abdominal distension or stabbing pain, which is resistant to pressure and comes and goes; menstruation is heavy or irregular, dark in color with blood clots; vaginal discharge is heavy or light, and yellow in color. Or accompanied by thirst without desire to drink, irritability, and short and dark urine. The tongue is dark red, with ecchymoses or petechiae on the edges, and the pulse is stringy and astringent.

Cold-damp stagnation type: Symptoms include cold pain in the lower abdomen, preference for warmth and pressure, excessive leucorrhea, white and thin. Or accompanied by soreness of waist and knees, fatigue, cold body and limbs, clear and long urine, loose and thin stools; early or late menstruation, small amount, dark color. Pale tongue, thin white greasy coating, deep and tight pulse.
