What are the main symptoms of cervical warts?

Cervical warts refer to a type of sexually transmitted disease caused by human papillomavirus. What are the symptoms of cervical warts? In the early stages of cervical warts, there will be millet-sized papules that are relatively soft in texture, or appear as light red wart-like papules, which will gradually increase in size and have an uneven surface, and may also be nipple-shaped, mushroom-shaped, or cauliflower-shaped.

Cervical warts are mainly transmitted through sexual contact and occur more frequently in young women. In the early stages of cervical warts, a small number of light red papules will appear, which are relatively soft in texture. Then they will gradually increase in number, tend to merge, or overlap, and have an uneven surface that appears like warts.

What are the symptoms of cervical warts? Patients with cervical warts will feel itchy, burning, or oppressive sensations in the affected area. Genital warts in the anus and rectum will cause pain and a sense of tenesmus in the affected area. Genital warts in the vagina and cervix will cause pain during sexual intercourse, and female patients will experience increased vaginal discharge.

After women are infected with cervical warts, the local moisture and heat stimulation, as well as chronic stimulation, will cause the warts to grow rapidly, and then papillary lesions of varying sizes will form, as well as cauliflower-like, cockscomb-like, and mushroom-like lesions of various shapes. They are very soft in nature and easily bleed when touched. Since the secretions will infiltrate the surface, they appear white, or dirty, or red. The root of the wart is usually narrow and has a stalk. The surface is very moist, and there is exudation or erosion. Due to the presence of purulent secretions in the cracks of the skin lesions, secondary bacterial infection is likely to occur, which is usually accompanied by a foul odor.
