What are the types of cervical warts?

Many people know about sexually transmitted diseases, but they don't know much about HPV. In fact, HPV is a sexually transmitted virus. Like other sexually transmitted diseases, its harm to patients is relatively serious. In particular, its difficulty in treatment and easy recurrence make patients very troubled. Therefore, timely treatment of the disease is so urgent.

Clinically, there are dozens of HPV types, and different types can cause different diseases.

Symptoms of cervical condylomata HPV can be divided into two categories: low-risk and high-risk types, depending on the pathogenicity or carcinogenicity of HPV subtypes. Low-risk HPV mainly causes exogenous warts on the anal skin and male external genitalia, female labia majora and minora, urethral orifice, lower vagina and low-grade cervical intraepithelial neoplasia. Its virus subtypes include HPV6, 11, 30, 39, 42, 43 and HPV44. In addition to causing external genital warts, high-risk HPV can also cause external genital cancer, cervical cancer and high-grade cervical intraepithelial neoplasia. Its virus subtypes mainly include HPV16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58 and HPV61.

1. Risk of cancer. The immune system of patients with genital warts is suppressed, and the disease can recur repeatedly for a long time, which is annoying. Finally, there is a possibility of genital cancer.

2. Cause papilloma in non-genital parts. Through direct contact or indirect contact with contaminated objects, the harm of genital warts can cause papilloma of the conjunctiva and papilloma of the oral mucosa.

3. It is highly contagious and can be transmitted to family members or other people. Genital warts can be transmitted not only through sexual contact, but also through indirect contact with family members or friends through bath towels, bathtubs, underwear, etc. that are contaminated with the virus.

4. It can be transmitted to infants and affect the quality of childbirth. Pregnant women with genital warts may infect their infants through the birth canal during childbirth, causing respiratory warts in infants and young children. What are the hazards of genital warts? People must have confidence after contracting the disease, and adjust their mood as soon as possible and treat the disease in time, so that they can recover faster. Experts suggest that although the current medical level has made great progress and the treatment of genital warts is no longer a problem, not every hospital can effectively treat the disease. This requires patients to be cautious when choosing a method and make a decision after careful investigation.
