Is the recurrence rate of cervical precancerous lesions high?

Is the recurrence rate of cervical precancerous lesions high? Cervical cancer and tumors mostly occur in women aged 20 to 50. In recent years, the number of women suffering from gynecological diseases has become younger and younger. The earlier you get married, the greater the chance of developing cervical cancer and tumors. Women with more pregnancies are more likely to develop cervical cancer and tumors than those with fewer pregnancies. This reminds us that our sex life must be regular and reasonable, and we should not be too early.

Since cervical cancer may have no obvious symptoms and signs in the early stage, it is often easy to ignore. However, the following high-risk groups for cervical cancer need to pay attention:

1. People infected with human papillomavirus (HPV):

Data shows that 99 percent of cervical cancer is caused by HPV infection.

2. Multiple sexual partners:

A study in the United States showed that women with more than 10 sexual partners accounted for 36% of new cases of cervical cancer, indicating that multiple sexual partners are significantly correlated with cervical carcinoma in situ and cervical cancer. This is because sperm produces a sperm antibody after entering the vagina, which generally disappears completely in about 4 months. If you have many sexual partners and have sex too frequently, you will produce a variety of antibodies (heterosexual proteins), making you more likely to develop cervical cancer.

3. Early marriage and multiple births:

The report of the Cervical Cancer Prevention and Control Collaborative Group shows that the incidence of cervical cancer in women who marry before the age of 20 is three times higher than that in the 21-25 age group, and seven times higher than that in women who marry after the age of 26. At the same time, the incidence of cervical cancer increases with the number of births, and the incidence of cervical cancer in women who have more than 7 births is more than 10 times higher than that in women who have 12 births.

4. Age:

The probability of cervical cancer in women under 20 years old is low, cervical cancer is high in 2050, and the incidence rate decreases after 50 years old. In general, there has been a trend of younger age in recent years.

5. Patients with atypical cervical hyperplasia:

Especially for moderate and severe patients, if not treated actively, it may also turn into cervical cancer.

The specific causes of cervical cancer are introduced:

(1) Relationship with sexual life and marriage Women who have early sexual life (referring to those who have sexual life before the age of 18) have a cervical cancer incidence rate that is four times higher than those who have sexual life after the age of 18. Women who have early sexual life and have sexually transmitted diseases such as syphilis and gonorrhea have a cervical cancer incidence rate that is six times higher than normal women. It has been confirmed that if a woman has sexual relations with multiple men, she has a greater chance of developing cervical cancer, while virgins rarely develop cervical cancer. Unmarried and nulliparous women have very little chance of developing cervical cancer, and the incidence rate of cervical cancer is also higher in women who have married multiple times. Multiple births and poor perinatal protection and delivery process will also increase the incidence of cervical cancer. However, multiple births will not increase the incidence of cervical cancer.

(2) Relationship with spouse Some people believe that the wife of a man with a long foreskin or phimosis has a higher relative risk of cervical cancer. The wife of a man who has penile cancer or prostate cancer or whose ex-wife has cervical cancer, or who has multiple sexual partners, has a higher chance of cervical cancer.

(3) Viral or fungal infection Herpes simplex virus type 2, human papillomavirus, human cytomegalovirus and fungal infection may be related to the occurrence of cervical cancer. However, the question of which virus is the main cause or which viruses work together to easily cause cervical cancer has not yet been resolved.

(4) Cervical erosion, laceration and eversion Due to the physiological and anatomical characteristics of the cervix, the cervix is easily stimulated by various physical, chemical and biological factors, including trauma, hormones and viruses.

Women can be said to be a vulnerable group both in career and in life. They are busy taking care of their parents and children every day and are overworked. When they are under too much pressure and depressed, they should learn to self-regulate, rest on time, pay more attention to personal hygiene, and refuse multiple sexual partners for their own health. Getting married after the age of 26 can reduce the risk of cervical cancer and tumors.
