Bacterial vaginosis test

Bacterial vaginosis test

Vaginal candidiasis is a common inflammation of the female reproductive organs caused by various bacteria, which seriously affects the daily life and work of many female friends. So how to check for vaginitis candidiasis?

1. Gynecological examination: Candidal vaginitis will be diagnosed through routine gynecological examination, preliminary screening for possible diseases, and taking secretion samples for necessary examinations.

2. Drug sensitivity test: Detect which drugs the pathogens are sensitive to, so that targeted medication can be used to improve treatment effects.

3. Amine test method: Take a drop of 10% potassium hydroxide solution and add it to the vaginal secretions. You can smell the release of fishy ammonia. This is because the amount of amine in the secretions is relatively high, and it can release an ammonia smell when it meets alkali.

4. Vaginal secretion examination: Check the cleanliness of the vagina and whether there is fungal infection. You can directly take vaginal secretions and place them on a glass slide, add a small drop of isotonic sodium chloride solution or 10% potassium hydroxide solution, cover the glass slide, and slightly heat the microscope for examination. The red and white blood cells and epithelial cells will dissolve immediately, and the fungi will appear in the form of thread-like fibers or mycelium.

5. True color electronic colposcopy: It can magnify 50 times to accurately and clearly observe the relevant lesions in the vagina, cervix and other parts, and accurately select suspicious parts for live examination. It is of great value for early detection and early diagnosis of cervical cancer and precancerous lesions, and for the examination of candidal vaginitis.

After the examination of candidal vaginitis, active treatment should be given, and minimally invasive and painless technology is recommended for effective treatment.
