The causes of dysmenorrhea vary among women of different ages

Generally, primary pain often occurs during adolescence, mostly around the age of 18. During this period, the female reproductive organs are still in the development stage, and the uterus and appendages may not be fully mature, and the endocrine system is not coordinated. Therefore, when the uterus contracts, it is easier to feel uncomfortable and have dysmenorrhea. Secondary dysmenorrhea can occur at any age, mostly in women of childbearing age and menopausal women. Women of this age often have the experience of miscarriage, normal delivery, abnormal delivery or intrauterine contraceptive device insertion, and with the increase of age, the chance of suffering from organic diseases increases, such as endometriosis, uterine fibroids, pelvic inflammatory disease, etc., which may cause secondary dysmenorrhea. Women of different ages experience dysmenorrhea, and the reasons are also different.

10-19 years old: Most of the time, because the hymen has no opening, menstrual blood cannot be discharged, which becomes a common cause of menstrual pain in this age group.

20-29 years old: Usually primary dysmenorrhea. It can be improved through Chinese medicine conditioning. A small number of cases may have endometriosis, so when the pain is abnormal, you should pay attention to go to the hospital as soon as possible.

30-39 years old: People in this age group still often suffer from dysmenorrhea, so they should be especially careful about the occurrence of diseases such as endometriosis, chocolate cysts, and incomplete endometrial shedding.

40-49 years old: Although you may have entered or are about to enter menopause, you should pay more attention to the pain caused by uterine diseases, especially tumors.
