How is Trichomonas vaginitis transmitted? How to treat vaginitis

Anyone can be infected with Trichomonas. People with altered vaginal pH or low immunity are more susceptible to infection. Very few people can recover from Trichomonas infection, and even if they recover, they can be infected again. The sources of infection of Trichomonas are those carriers and contaminated objects.

As for the transmission route, there are two types: direct transmission, that is, sexual transmission, and indirect transmission. In foreign countries, vaginal trichomoniasis is mainly transmitted through sexual life, so it is classified as a sexually transmitted disease. In my country, the transmission method is different. Due to the large population in my country, public health facilities are relatively backward compared to developed countries. Therefore, transmission in public places has also become an important transmission route. For example, the seats in public baths or the toilets in public toilets are contaminated by the secretions of carriers. Then if the later ones sit directly on the seats or toilets, they may be infected. The basins of public baths, swimming pools with high density and poor disinfection in summer, wearing other people's underwear, renting swimsuits, etc., may cause the spread of trichomoniasis.

In addition, family members sharing bathtubs and medical cross-infection are also causes of indirect transmission of Trichomonas.
