Infertility or sexual dysfunction are the main causes of uterine fibroids

Uterine fibroids are a common gynecological disease, especially common in the following two types of women.

1. Pregnant women who enter menopause early

Under normal circumstances, the number of primordial follicles in a woman's lifetime is limited, and the ovulation period is about 30 years. Due to the effect of hormones during pregnancy and lactation, the ovaries will stop ovulating, and will not resume ovulation until the 4th to 6th month of lactation. Therefore, the ovarian ovulation of women with a history of childbearing will be naturally delayed by more than a year, and the time of natural entry into menopause will also be relatively late. Because childless women cannot get the timely protection of progesterone, not only are menopausal women prone to early menopause, but they are also prone to hormone-dependent diseases such as uterine fibroids.

In addition, studies have shown that if a woman has a complete pregnancy experience in her life, her immunity will increase by 10 years, especially the immunity against gynecological tumors such as uterine fibroids. The chance of uterine fibroids in women who have not given birth will increase.

2. Women with sexual dysfunction

According to traditional Chinese medicine, uterine fibroids belong to the category of "symptoms and masses", which are mostly related to weak vital energy and imbalance of qi and blood. Common causes include emotional injury caused by the couple's lack of drinking, poor qi and imbalance of qi and blood. It can be seen that a harmonious relationship between husband and wife and a normal sex life can protect women's health, effectively promote neuroendocrine function, and normalize the secretion of human hormones. Otherwise, long-term imbalance in sex life can easily lead to disordered hormone levels, induce chronic pelvic congestion and cause uterine fibroids.
