Different types of pelvic inflammatory disease patients have different dietary treatments

Traditional Chinese medicine divides pelvic inflammatory disease into different types according to its various causes, and each type has different dietary therapy prescriptions.

1. Qi stagnation and blood stasis type

Dietary therapy: Take 30 grams of hawthorn, 15 grams of bergamot, and 60 grams of bitter endive, add water and cook together. Take it continuously for 7-8 days as a course of treatment.

Sophora flavescens: It tastes spicy, bitter and slightly cold. It has the effects of clearing heat, detoxifying, cooling blood, eliminating carbuncle, discharging pus, removing blood stasis and relieving pain.

Hawthorn: It has the effect of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, helps to relieve local blood stasis, effectively relieves asthma and phlegm, inhibits bacteria, and treats abdominal pain and diarrhea. It can also prevent and treat cardiovascular diseases, lower blood pressure and cholesterol, promote diuresis, and soften blood vessels.

Buddha's hand: It is pungent, sweet, bitter, warm and non-toxic. It has the effects of soothing the liver and relieving depression, drying dampness and resolving phlegm, regulating qi and harmonizing the middle. It is often used for liver depression and qi stagnation, spleen and stomach qi stagnation and phlegm and dampness blocking the lungs. It not only has high ornamental value, but also has precious medicinal value. Li Shizhen once recorded in "Compendium of Materia Medica": "Buddha's hand has a pungent taste, warm and non-toxic; it is mainly used to treat qi descent and remove phlegm and water in the heart; boiled in wine and drunk, it can treat phlegm and cough; boiled in soup, it can treat qi pain under the heart."

2. Liver and kidney yin deficiency

Dietary therapy: Take 30 grams of raw earth, wash and slice it, boil it repeatedly with clean water twice, take a total of 100 ml of juice for later use, cook 30 grams to 60 grams of japonica rice until it is 80% cooked, add the raw earth juice, and take it after it is cooked.

Shengdi: Also known as Shengdihuang, it has the effects of clearing heat and cooling blood, nourishing yin and promoting body fluid. Li Shizhen commented on Shengdihuang: "After taking it for 100 days, your face will be as red as a peach blossom, and you will stay young for three years."
