Symptoms of moderate cervical erosion

Symptoms of moderate cervical erosion

Cervical erosion can be divided into three categories according to the area of erosion: mild, moderate, and severe. Among them, when the erosion area accounts for 1/3 to 2/3 of the total area of the cervix, it is called moderate cervical erosion, which is between mild and severe cervical erosion. The main manifestations of this type of women include the following:

1. Abnormal leucorrhea

Leucorrhea is a mixture of secretions from the Bartholin's glands, cervical glands, endometrium, vaginal mucosal exudate, and exfoliated vaginal epithelial cells. It contains lactobacilli, lysozyme, and antibodies, which can inhibit bacterial growth. If the color, quality, and quantity of leucorrhea change abnormally, it is called abnormal leucorrhea. In moderate cervical erosion, women often have abnormal leucorrhea, which is manifested as increased leucorrhea, stickiness, and even odor, and occasionally a small amount of blood.

2. Lumbar pain

It is rare for cervical erosion to cause pain symptoms, but when the pathogens spread to a deeper area and cause chronic paracervical connective tissue inflammation, patients may experience lumbar pain, pelvic pain, and dysmenorrhea. If the inflammation spreads to the main ligament,

Pain during sexual intercourse affects sexual life.

3. Bladder symptoms

Inflammation of the cervix can spread or directly extend to the bladder trigone, irritating the bladder and causing symptoms such as frequent urination and painful urination, and sometimes may also lead to secondary urinary tract infection.

In addition to the above situations, some patients may also experience intercourse bleeding during sexual intercourse, which is also called "contact bleeding" in medicine.
