Early menstruation in patients with menstrual disorders refers to menstruation cycles that are less than 21 days, but still regular, and last for more than 2 consecutive cycles. Traditional Chinese medicine divides early menstruation into two categories: real syndrome and deficiency syndrome. According to the amount, color and texture of menstruation, if the menstrual flow is heavy, the color is bright red or dark purple, and the menstrual texture is thick and shiny, it is real, mostly caused by blood heat. Blood heat can be caused by heart fire, liver fire, and spleen fire; if the menstrual flow is heavy or light, the color is dark, and the menstrual texture is thin and dull, it is deficiency, mostly caused by qi deficiency.
