Specific identification of early symptoms of adnexitis

Many patients now miss the best time to treat adnexitis when they discover the symptoms of adnexitis. Therefore, it is important to understand the symptoms of early adnexitis. Below, we will introduce the symptoms of early adnexitis in detail.

Symptoms of adnexitis include:

1. Abdominal pain

At the beginning, it is limited to lower abdominal pain, mostly bilateral, rarely vomiting, sometimes accompanied by urinary pain, often constipation, abdominal distension, and mucus in the stool, which is the result of inflammatory stimulation of the colon wall. This is the symptom of adnexitis.

2. Physical signs

Symptoms and signs of adnexitis are obvious tenderness in the lower abdomen, which is most obvious 1.5 to 2 cm above the midpoint of the inguinal ligament. Severe cases refuse to press, and the abdominal muscles are rigid and rebound tenderness is obvious. Gynecological examination shows purulent vaginal discharge and varying degrees of redness and swelling of the cervix. Bimanual examination shows severe cervical lifting pain, and the pelvic condition is difficult to ascertain due to tense abdominal muscles.

3. Fever

Symptoms of adnexitis include high fever of 39-40℃ and possible chills or shivering at the onset of the disease, followed by irregular remittent fever. If the inflammatory lesions are isolated due to adhesions, the body temperature may drop quickly. If the high fever drops for a while and then rises again, it indicates that the inflammation has spread or purulent lesions have occurred.

After reading the above introduction, I believe everyone has recognized the symptoms of early adnexitis. The symptoms of early adnexitis do not necessarily appear at the same time, and may only show one or two symptoms. Please be sure to go to the hospital for examination in time.
