Among the various methods of treating dysmenorrhea, massage is a better one and has a very good effect on treating dysmenorrhea. So what are the common massage methods for treating dysmenorrhea ? Here we will tell you about the common massage methods for treating dysmenorrhea.

Generally, the common massage methods for treating dysmenorrhea are:

1. Press Zusanli

Massage method: Zusanli is located 3 inches below the knee joint on the front and outer side of the lower leg, one finger width outside the anterior crest of the tibia. Use the tip of your thumb to press and rub Zusanli acupoint with a little force until you feel soreness and swelling. Moxibustion with moxa sticks can be used to treat dysmenorrhea.

2. Massage Taichong acupoint

Massage method: Use the left thumb to knead the right Taichong point (located at the midpoint of the first metatarsal space on the dorsum of the foot) until you feel soreness and swelling. After 1 minute, switch to the right thumb to knead the left Taichong point for 1 minute. This is a good massage method to treat dysmenorrhea.

3. Rub and rub the lower abdomen

Massage method: When treating dysmenorrhea, overlap your hands and place them in the middle of the lower abdomen. Rub the abdomen with slow and gentle movements, with a frequency of about 10 times per minute, until you feel a heat in the lower abdomen. After 5 minutes of massage, use both hands to rub diagonally on both sides of the lower abdomen from back to front, towards the groin, until the heat penetrates.

4. Press and massage the uterus point

Massage method: The uterus point is located in the lower abdomen, 4 inches below the navel and 3 inches away from the middle point. Stimulating the uterus point is a conditioning method directly targeting the female genitals, which has the effects of promoting blood circulation, removing blood stasis, regulating qi and relieving pain. This is also an effective method for treating dysmenorrhea.

The above is an introduction to the common massage treatment methods for dysmenorrhea. I hope it will be helpful to everyone. Patients should choose the method of dysmenorrhea that suits them according to their actual condition and should not choose blindly.
