A brief analysis of the hazards of cervical hypertrophy

Cervical hypertrophy is a common gynecological disease. Many of our patients suffer from this disease, which causes physical discomfort. Many patients are not aware of the harm of this disease. Here we will briefly introduce the harms of cervical hypertrophy:

Cervical hypertrophy is a type of chronic cervicitis. It is an inflammatory change caused by pathogens infecting the cervical mucosa. The pathogens that cause cervical hypertrophy include mycoplasma, chlamydia, bacteria, and viruses. It is recommended that you go to the hospital's gynecology department to have a cervical secretion examination and receive symptomatic treatment based on the results. If necessary, a cervical TCT examination can be performed to exclude early cervical cancer. The hazards of cervical hypertrophy include: simple cervical hypertrophy will not affect pregnancy, but severe cervicitis can cause endometritis, salpingo-oophoritis, fallopian tube adhesions and blockages, leading to infertility.

After pregnancy, due to hormonal changes, it may be difficult to determine whether there is still cervical hypertrophy. The hazards of cervical hypertrophy include that severe cervical hypertrophy can affect delivery. If the platelet count continues to decrease during pregnancy, the pregnant woman should receive treatment. If it remains at a certain level, it can be observed.

The above are the hazards of cervical hypertrophy. I hope our patients will pay more attention to it. Our female friends should know how to protect their health and go to regular hospitals for treatment, which is good for our health.
