Early treatment of uterine fibroids

Concurrent inflammation: Bleeding causes bacteria to invade and cause gynecological inflammation such as adnexitis and pelvic inflammatory disease. Fibroids with concurrent inflammation are often caused by tumor pedicle torsion or acute endometritis. Inflammation can sometimes be purulent. In a few cases, abscesses form in the tumor tissue. Subserous myoma pedicle torsion causes intestinal adhesions, which can be invaded by intestinal bacteria. The inflamed myoma adheres to the uterine appendages, causing purulent inflammation.

Malignant transformation of fibroids: Uterine fibroids are benign fibroids, but a small number of them will become malignant. This is more common in older people with larger and faster-growing fibroids, especially those who grow faster after menopause or who develop fibroids after menopause. These patients should be vigilant.

Infertility and miscarriage: Uterine fibroids hinder the implantation of fertilized eggs, deform the uterine cavity, block the entrance of the fallopian tube, hinder the sperm from entering the fallopian tube, or are accompanied by ovarian dysfunction, which can cause infertility, premature birth or miscarriage. About 25% to 35% of patients with uterine fibroids are infertile.

Secondary anemia: Long-term excessive menstruation can lead to secondary anemia. In severe cases, symptoms such as general fatigue, pale complexion, shortness of breath, and palpitations may also occur.

Acute complications: It should be noted that once uterine fibroids cause acute lower abdominal pain, it is mostly caused by fibroid complications, such as red degeneration, inflammation, torsion, etc., and should be treated in time.
