The harm of uterine cysts

The harm of uterine cysts

The harm of uterine cysts mainly depends on the type and size of the cysts. In most cases, they are benign, but some may cause infertility, abdominal pain or menstrual abnormalities. Treatment includes drug control, surgical excision and regular follow-up. Uterine cysts are caused by factors such as endometriosis, hormonal imbalance or inflammation. Common types include functional cysts and endometriosis cysts. Functional cysts can usually disappear on their own, but pathological cysts need to be vigilant about the risk of malignant transformation.

1. Functional cysts: They are often related to fluctuations in hormone levels and are common in women of childbearing age. Usually, no special treatment is required and regular checkups are sufficient. If the cyst is large or causes symptoms, you may consider using contraceptives to regulate hormone levels, such as ethinyl estradiol cyproterone acetate tablets, drospirenone ethinyl estradiol tablets, etc.

2. Endometriosis cysts: caused by endometriosis, which may lead to dysmenorrhea, infertility and other problems. Treatment includes oral medications such as dienogest, GnRH agonists, or surgical removal of the cysts, such as laparoscopic surgery.

3. Inflammatory cysts: They are mostly caused by pelvic inflammatory disease or endometritis and require anti-inflammatory treatment, such as oral antibiotics metronidazole and cephalosporins. They can also be combined with Chinese medicine conditioning, such as Guizhi Fuling Pills.

The key to preventing uterine cysts is to maintain a healthy lifestyle, such as a balanced diet, moderate exercise, and avoiding excessive fatigue. In terms of diet, you can eat more foods rich in vitamins and fiber, such as green leafy vegetables and fruits, and reduce the intake of high-fat and high-sugar foods. In terms of exercise, it is recommended to choose low-intensity exercises such as yoga and jogging, which can help improve pelvic blood circulation.

Although most uterine cysts are benign, appropriate treatment measures must be taken according to the specific situation, and regular check-ups are particularly important to eliminate the risk of malignancy and ensure health.
