What is adenomyosis? I believe many people are confused when they see the name of this disease. In fact, adenomyosis is a lesion caused by the endometrial glands and myometrium, and is a common gynecological disease. So, what are the premenstrual symptoms of adenomyosis? 1. The clinical manifestations of adenomyosis are mainly: dysmenorrhea with progressive aggravation, menstrual abnormalities, infertility, dyspareunia, pelvic pain, low fever, increased leucorrhea and menstrual pain. The cause of dysmenorrhea may be that the ectopic endometrium bleeds with the changes in the ovaries, resulting in increased local pressure outside the lesion, and the surrounding smooth muscle tissue is stimulated to spasm and contract, causing pain. 2. Gynecological examinations often reveal an enlarged uterus, which is enlarged during or before and after menstruation and gradually shrinks. However, it should not exceed the size of a 3-month pregnancy. If it is larger than 3 months, it often indicates complications. 3. As for the cause of menorrhagia, although the traditional view is that the increase in uterine volume and endometrial area can increase the chance of bleeding, current clinical observations show that the uterus of adenomyosis is often smaller than the size of a 3-month pregnant woman. 4. Adenomyosis can also cause infertility. In recent years, with the widespread use of intrauterine operation technology, some young women aged 16 to 30 have also developed the disease, and women of childbearing age can also suffer from infertility. Dysmenorrhea occurs before and during each menstruation. The pain is severe, and the woman cannot sleep at night, affecting her rest and work. She needs to take strong painkillers to relieve the pain. As the disease worsens, the pain relief time is shortened and the dosage is increased. If the disease is serious, the woman will also experience pain during non-menstrual period. This causes serious harm to women's body and mind. The most obvious harm of uterine adenomyoma is dysmenorrhea, and it is very painful. The pain will become more and more severe with age. This pain may even affect normal life and work. In general medicine, this type of dysmenorrhea is called secondary dysmenorrhea. |
