How to Check for Ovarian Cysts

How to check for ovarian cysts?

For women, the probability of suffering from ovarian cysts is very high. In this case, it will also affect personal health, so we must pay attention to the examination. There are many medical examination methods at present, such as laparoscopy, imaging examination, cervical mucus examination, basal body temperature examination or other methods.

1. Laparoscopy

The general condition of the tumor can be directly seen, the entire pelvic and abdominal cavities can be observed, multiple biopsies can be performed on suspicious areas, and after the individual's condition is determined, the surgical process can be initiated based on the condition.

2. Imaging Examination

B-ultrasound is the simplest and easiest diagnostic method, which can effectively determine the location and size of ovarian tumors and can identify whether ovarian cysts have the possibility of malignant changes. Generally, those with a diameter less than 25 PCs are not easy to find. Ultrasound Doppler scanning can measure changes in blood flow to the ovaries and their new tissues, which can help with diagnosis.

3. Cervical mucus examination

In cervical mucus examination and vaginal cell examination, the presence of estrogen will cause the mucus to be thin, long and have fern-like crystals. If the fern-like crystals are very obvious, it means that the effect of estrogen is more obvious. If there is a clear oval on the smear, it also means that it is affected by progesterone.

4. Basic body temperature detection

Basic body temperature refers to the body temperature after being awake for a long time, which is the body temperature when maintaining the basic life activity state. Because the body temperature center is extremely sensitive to progesterone, the body temperature generally rises within 2 to 3 days after ovulation. If there is no ovulation, it will maintain the basic body temperature.

5. Other methods

If the cyst is a malignant ovarian tumor, it will also release many different substances. These substances can be detected in the patient's serum through immunology and biochemistry, and finally know whether there is a malignant tumor in the body.
