Step 1: Sit cross-legged and fold the rope

Sit cross-legged on a soft cushion, fold the rope in half and place it on your knees, adjust your breathing to be smooth, and get ready.

Step 2: Extend one leg and raise both hands

Stretch one leg out to the side as far as possible, while keeping the other leg bent. Pull up both ends of the rope with both hands, raise it above your head, and inhale. Keep your arms straight and your elbows not bent during the movement.

Step 3: Pull the rope and fall sideways

Exhale slowly, and use the hand on the same side of the leg to pull the rope to touch the leg. The other hand will be pulled along with it, so that the outer armpit is actually stretched. Maintain for 10 seconds. Inhale and return to the normal position, repeat 10 times. If you feel your armpits, sides, and shoulder blade muscles stretched, your posture is correct.

POINT:

As you drop your arms to the sides, try to get your wrists to touch your ankles.

Step 4: Switch sides

Switch to the other leg and stretch it sideways, and also switch hands to pull the leg sideways, really stretching the other side's armpit

TIPS:

Keep the rope above your head, not in front! When stretching your arms left and right, the rope should be held high above your head, keeping it on the same plane as your head and upper body. Once the rope drops in front of your head, reduce the movement to your arm and shoulder muscles.
