She exercised every day and controlled her diet, and finally lost 14 kilograms of greasy fat in 75 days.

I didn't want to face the truth and didn't dare to weigh myself for more than 2 years

Liao Xinlan, 52, supervisor of the Nursing Department of Tong General Hospital, said that her diet was normal before losing weight and she did not have the habit of overeating. However, due to her busy work and lack of exercise, her body metabolism slowed down and fat accumulated on her body unconsciously. The jeans she wore felt tighter and tighter. However, she was afraid of the weight loss process she would face after seeing her weight, so she did not step on the scale to weigh herself for more than two years.

However, during the employee physical examination on April 16 this year, it was found that he weighed 63.7 kilograms, and his cholesterol and triglycerides were relatively high, which may increase the risk of other chronic diseases, so he made up his mind to lose weight.

The winning formula for weight loss: exercise + diet control

First of all, no matter how busy you are at work, spend about 2 hours a day doing treadmill exercise at home to increase the fat metabolism rate. Liao Xinlan, who works the night shift, said that she would run for an hour every morning after getting up at about 10 a.m., and run for another hour at about 2 p.m. before going to work. When she has free time on holidays, she will increase the exercise time. Her current highest record is 160 minutes of exercise a day.

In addition to exercise, weight loss also requires diet control. Liao Xinlan shared her diet method. During the first 40 days, she eliminated all starchy foods and mainly ate raw fruits and vegetables, sugar-free soy milk, and protein foods. She lost a total of 6 kilograms during this period. During the 40 days to 3 months of weight loss, while consuming fish, meat, fruits and other foods in a balanced manner, she would pair lunch with some starchy foods to replenish the body's vitality. The cumulative weight loss was 13 kilograms. Her current weight is controlled at around 51 or 52 kilograms. Her diet is based on the principle of balanced and diverse intake. She eats fruit every day, and starchy foods are slightly less at dinner than at brunch.

Through exercise and diet control, Liao Xinlan lost 13.7 kg from 63.7 kg in just two and a half months. She is now lighter than when she was 20 years old, and her waist circumference has also decreased by 9.5 cm. She has become more confident. She happily shared that instead of taking diet pills and only losing 2 or 3 kilograms, it is better to exercise consistently and control your diet properly.
