Office workers are too "calm" in their diet, which leads to poor physical strength and easy fatigue

The sun is scorching, and it’s so hot that you have no appetite. When you’re hungry, you don’t know what to eat. This has become an annoying problem in the lives of urban office workers. As for how to stimulate appetite, eat well, and take into account health and weight, professional nutritionists have put forward suggestions, emphasizing that office workers should consume more foods containing vitamin B1, such as brown rice, oats, germ rice, etc., which can improve stress resistance and relieve chronic fatigue; guava and kiwi are rich in vitamin C, which can reduce fatigue, thereby creating a strong physique that is not easily fatigued. Nutritionists recommend that people eat more fruits and vegetables when they feel tired to reduce the acidity of muscles and blood and help eliminate fatigue.

Nutritionist Fang Qingyi said that peptic ulcer, indigestion, constipation, hemorrhoids, irritable bowel syndrome, etc. are the most common digestive system diseases among office workers. Although there are medicines available to treat them, the most fundamental way to treat gastrointestinal diseases is to improve eating habits, develop exercise habits and relax. It is not correct to just buy medicine or ignore it. Especially for office workers who often eat out and socialize, they are prone to form a "high-fat, high-salt, low-fiber" diet pattern; coupled with long periods of sitting, it is easy to cause constipation, and bad habits such as smoking and drinking make the digestive system even worse.

In particular, many office workers cannot eat a full meal or greasy meat at noon, and they fill their stomachs with vegetables and fruits for a long time, and they think it is a very healthy way of eating. This kind of diet will not have any effect on the body if followed occasionally, but if it continues for a long time, it will easily lead to protein deficiency, which will disrupt a balanced diet, worsen the body's metabolic function, cause poor physical strength, and cause fatigue.

Fang Qingyi pointed out that in the hot summer, many office workers like to drink commercially available beverages to quench their thirst. In fact, coffee, tea or commercially available energy drinks all contain caffeine. If consumed in excess, it may cause palpitations, rapid heartbeat, increased blood pressure and other conditions. Long-term drinking may also lead to bone loss and even caffeine addiction.

Although caffeine has a refreshing effect, it can also make it difficult for office workers to concentrate, which in turn reduces work efficiency. The sugar or creamer it contains may cause obesity problems due to excessive calorie intake. Therefore, it is recommended that people eat more fruits and vegetables when they feel tired to reduce the acidity of muscles and blood and help eliminate fatigue.

Foods such as fish, animal liver, bean products, brown rice, fresh vegetables, or commercially available multivitamins are rich in vitamin B1 and vitamin B2, which can promote the elimination of metabolic products in the body and relieve fatigue. It is also recommended not to drink a lot of water half an hour before meals to avoid affecting appetite. Cold dishes, sweet and sour foods and light cooking methods help to stimulate the appetite. Foods containing vitamin B1, such as germ rice, lean meat, yeast, beans, fish eggs, vegetables, etc., can increase appetite and get rid of the nightmare of summer fatigue.
