What are the 4 major methods for treating chronic cervicitis in women?

After women find that they have chronic cervicitis, we need timely treatment. Chronic cervicitis can cause great harm to women. There are many ways to treat this disease. We can adopt cryotherapy, laser therapy, etc. In addition to these therapies, corresponding care work also needs to be done in daily life.

Cervicitis is a common gynecological disease among female friends. Clinically, it is divided into chronic cervicitis and acute cervicitis. Compared with acute cervicitis, chronic cervicitis will cause greater harm to female friends! For chronic cervicitis, we must take some good methods to treat it in time. Today we will introduce four better methods to you.

There are four ways to treat cervicitis

1. Vaginal fornix closure: See the other therapies chapter for details. It can be used for patients with chronic cervicitis combined with paracervical connective tissue inflammation, lumbosacral pain, and obvious cervical lifting pain, which seriously affects sexual life.

2. Electrocoagulation: In the past, radial lines were used, and the healing time was long (6 to 8 weeks). At present, electrocoagulation is mostly used to iron the entire erosion, so it is also called electric ironing. The effectiveness of electroironing therapy for treating cervical erosion is 100% once. For specific operations, first place the electric iron, and routinely disinfect the vulva, vagina and cervix. Use a vaginal speculum to expose the cervix, touch the electric iron head to the eroded surface, and iron evenly, with the range slightly exceeding the eroded surface.

3. Cryotherapy: It is a kind of ultra-low temperature treatment. The cooling source is liquid nitrogen, and the temperature is -196℃. During treatment, the appropriate probe is selected according to the erosion situation. In order to improve the efficacy, the freeze-thaw-freeze method can be used, that is, freezing for 1 minute, rewarming for 3 minutes, and freezing again for 1 minute. Its advantages are simple operation, and rarely bleeding and cervical stenosis occur after surgery.

4. Laser treatment: It is a high-temperature treatment, the temperature can reach above 700℃. It mainly makes the eroded tissue carbonized and scabs formed. After the scabs fall off, the wound surface is covered with new squamous epithelium. In addition to the thermal effect, its advantages also include pressure, photochemical and electromagnetic field effects, so it has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and tissue repair effects in treatment, so the treatment time is short and the cure rate is high.
