Vitality supply station starts with balanced diet management

Modern people's working habits, eating habits, and stress often put people into a vortex of "energy consumption". Not only are they burdened with too much mental pressure, but their bodies also gradually become tired. If they fail to get relief for a long time, it is easy to cause chronic fatigue syndrome or even more serious health problems. In addition to exercise, other common ways to replenish energy include improving your diet.

A healthy and balanced diet can help replenish energy and restore an over-tired body to good health as quickly as possible.

A balanced and correct diet helps provide the energy needed by the human body for a day. According to the "National Dietary Indicators" released by the Department of Health, Executive Yuan in July 2011, there are 12 dietary principles listed, including:

  1. Based on the dietary guidelines, a balanced diet of six categories is enough.

  2. A healthy body weight must be ensured and calorie intake should be controlled.

  3. Stay healthy and be active for at least 30 minutes a day.

  4. Breast milk is highly nutritious and should be fed for at least six months.

  5. Whole grains and rhizomes are used as staple food to enhance nutrition and improve quality.

  6. Don’t eat foods that are too salty, and avoid pickling foods. Eat low-fat foods, and avoid frying and dipping them in sauces.

  7. Sugary drinks should be avoided, and drinking more water is healthier.

  8. Eat less meat and more vegetables, less refined food, fresh and coarse food and less processed food.

  9. When buying food, don’t order too much and eat moderate portions to avoid waste.

  10. Seasonal local ingredients, diverse food choices to stay healthy.

  11. Pay attention to the source label to ensure it is hygienic and safe to eat.

  12. If you want to drink in moderation, never drink when you are pregnant.

However, for lack of energy or loss of vitality caused by uneven nutritional intake, excessive stress or overuse of the eyes, you can replenish your energy through a suitable diet depending on your individual situation.

  1. When stress comes: It can moderately supplement vitamins B and C that are easily lost by the human body, improve insomnia, fatigue and stabilize emotions. Foods include cereals, legumes, fruits and vegetables.

  2. Lack of energy: Mainly caused by insufficient intake of vitamin E. You can eat more wheat malt which is rich in vitamin E.

  3. Inattention and pale complexion: These may be symptoms of anemia caused by iron deficiency. It is recommended to eat more iron-rich foods such as chicken, fish, and eggs.

  4. Overuse of eyes: Eyes are prone to soreness or radiation damage. In this case, you can combine wolfberry, chrysanthemum and green tea, steep them in hot water for 5 minutes and then drink them.

In addition, as research continues to develop, some specific foods have also been proven to contain high levels of antioxidants or special plant chemicals that can bring vitality to the human body, such as green tea, apples, bell peppers, broccoli, mangoes, almonds, mushrooms, brown rice, sesame seeds, tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, red grapefruit, seaweed, papaya, ginger, cabbage, whole grains, beans and berries.
