Affordable domestic pork is on the shelves! 9 large-scale hypermarkets have sales

In order to promote the supply of affordable domestic pork, the Council of Agriculture launched the second wave of activities on the 27th. Nine large hypermarkets and chain fresh food supermarkets, including Carrefour, Maple Leaf, Song Qing, Xiong Wei, Ding Hao, Far Eastern I-Mart, Taiwan Sugar, PX Mart, and Yu Maowu, will supply refrigerated fresh pork products at preferential prices. The public is welcome to purchase nearby according to the previous promotional schedules of the respective operators.

Chen Baoji, chairman of the Council of Agriculture, said that domestic pork is currently under the council's strengthened source management measures, and the carcasses are inspected by on-site veterinarians during slaughter, so it is absolutely hygienic and safe. In addition, warm-bodied pork is fresh and delicious, so it is worth consuming by the public. The public is requested to take action to support locally produced pork products and assist in the sustainable development of the domestic pig farming industry.

In order to enable consumers to fully enjoy high-quality and affordable domestic fresh pork products, the Council of Agriculture established an affordable domestic pork sales platform on April 24 this year by the Agricultural and Fishery Association Supermarket Center and 49 agricultural product sales centers under the New Taipei City Farmers' Association. From now on, all 60 Carrefour branches in the province (until May 3, with two subsequent promotional activities), 40 Fengkang supermarkets and 4 Xiongwei branches (until May 17), and 19 Far Eastern A-Mart hypermarkets (until May 27) will provide affordable domestic pork and related promotional activities.

In addition, five large hypermarkets and chain fresh food supermarkets, including PX Mart, Ting Hao, Taisugar, Song Qing, and Yu Mao Wu, have successively launched pork products with great discounts.
