Vulvar itching medication is not simple

According to a survey by a US healthcare product consumer agency, 60% of women said they prefer to watch more than a few years ago. With the increase in advertising, they are more likely to use disease medications. Among them, self-diagnosis of vaginal itching is the most common.

Experts are accepting

A survey shows that in the case of itching and abnormal discharge, two-thirds of women mistakenly believe that they have candidal vaginitis, because the drugs for treating such diseases are the most advertised in the media, which easily creates the illusion that they are very familiar with this disease. At the same time, more than one-fifth of women also have other vaginitis such as trichomoniasis when they are infected with candida. However, since vaginal itching, abnormal leucorrhea and other problems are similar, patients are often unaware of it and easily ignore one, missing the opportunity for treatment.

Why is vaginal itching not suitable for self-diagnosis? Experts point out that there are many pathogenic factors of candidal vaginitis. Studies have shown that people with blood, high urine sugar, pregnancy, a large number of immunosuppressants and broad-spectrum antibiotics, gastrointestinal mycelial yeast infection, obesity, and excessive sexual intercourse are prone to vaginal diseases under immunity. Patients do not understand the real pathogenic factors behind vaginal problems. If you blindly take medicine and suppress local vaginal symptoms, it is still difficult to diagnose other parts of the body.

There is also a vaginal yeast called Candida albicans that can change vaginal acid and may be a concomitant symptom of HIV or HPV infection. Simply treating it as vaginitis will obviously have serious consequences.

Experts suggest that if you think you have vaginal itching, abnormal leucorrhea and other symptoms, you must go to the hospital for a secretion test. If the symptoms are not significantly relieved within two or three days after taking the medicine, or even accompanied by fever and pelvic pain, you must see a doctor as soon as possible.
