Look carefully! Only two Clenbuterol testing laboratories have obtained international certification

Are private clenbuterol testing laboratories trustworthy? According to the Food and Drug Administration, there are currently 12 laboratories that have obtained certification for "animal drug residues" in food in accordance with the International Laboratory Accreditation Standard (ISO/IEC 17025). Among them, there are two laboratories certified for beta-receptor (clenbuterol) testing, namely Taiwan Inspection Technology Co., Ltd. (Food Laboratory-Taipei) and the Central Livestock Industry Association (Technical Service Center). In addition, there are currently three laboratories in the process of completing the certification process.

Laboratories can apply for certification in accordance with the provisions of the "Food, Drug and Cosmetic Laboratory Certification Operating Procedures" of the Food and Drug Administration, prepare the inspection technology and quality assurance information of the certification items, and apply to the bureau. Only after written review, on-site evaluation, and review by a review committee composed of experts and scholars can they become a certified laboratory of the bureau.

Currently, there are 80 laboratories certified by the Food and Drug Administration with 737 inspection items, including 54 food laboratories with 489 inspection items.
