Will ovarian cysts kill you? What should you pay attention to in your diet?

1. Clinically, ovarian cysts often present with lower abdominal pain, discomfort, increased vaginal discharge, yellow vaginal discharge, abnormal vaginal odor, irregular menstruation, and usually a firm and painless swelling in the lower abdomen. Sometimes sexual intercourse can cause pain. When the cyst affects hormone production, symptoms such as irregular vaginal bleeding or increased hair growth may occur. If the cyst is twisted, there will be severe abdominal pain, dyspnea, decreased appetite, nausea, and fever.

2. Although most ovarian cysts are benign and do not threaten life and health, if they are allowed to grow and develop, or even become malignant tumors, they may be life-threatening. Due to the lack of effective diagnostic methods, the survival rate of ovarian malignant tumors is still low, hovering at 25% to 30%. With the progress in the diagnosis and treatment of cervical cancer and endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer has become a tumor that seriously threatens women's health.

3. While protecting their ovaries, women should also pay attention to adjusting their mentality, strengthening self-care exercises, and developing good living habits. Women should pay attention to the maintenance of their ovaries from the age of 35, such as paying attention to a reasonable diet structure, regular physical examinations, etc. At the same time, ovarian maintenance is a long-term process that requires perseverance.

Ovarian cyst diet notes:

1. Avoid spicy foods and drinks such as chili peppers, peppercorns, raw onions, raw garlic, white wine, etc.

2. Meat can be lean meat, chicken, eggs, crucian carp, turtle and other light meats.

3. Avoid hot and blood-coagulant foods such as longan, red dates, donkey-hide gelatin, royal jelly, etc.

4. Do not eat mutton, shrimp, crab, eel, salted fish, black fish and other hairy foods. The diet should be light and rich in sufficient nutrition, and correct partial eclipse and abnormal eating habits.
