Conventional methods of Western medicine for treating cervical hypertrophy

Conventional methods of Western medicine for treating cervical hypertrophy:

1. Surgical treatment: Due to damage or inflammatory stimulation such as squamous epithelial exfoliation and columnar epithelial hyperplasia, the surface of the enlarged cervix forms erosion. Among them, severe cervicitis and other inflammations can cause uterine inflammation, salpingo-oophoritis, fallopian tube adhesion and obstruction, which can lead to infertility. At this time, surgical treatment is required.

1. The commonly used clinical LEEP knife minimally invasive surgery can completely remove the surface of cervical lesions, retain complete and continuous pathological tissue examination specimens, and accurately detect malignant changes in the cervix as soon as possible. The uterus is intact after the operation and does not affect the patient's fertility.

2. Laser treatment: Laser treatment can carbonize and scab the eroded tissue to heal.

3. Electric iron. The heat from the electric iron solidifies the tissue on the cervical erosion surface and forms a scab. After about two weeks, the scab begins to fall off and the wound heals.

4. Cryotherapy. The cooling device is generally made of liquid nitrogen as a rapid coolant. The probe is placed on the eroded surface for 1 to 3 minutes and then removed after natural rewarming, so that the diseased tissue is frozen and necrotic.

2. Drug treatment: mainly detergents, oral medications and bolts. It is not recommended for women to use detergents at any time. Because the concentration of acid-base detergents is relatively high, it will only destroy the natural defense line in the female vagina, affect the growth of normal flora, thereby reducing the resistance of the vagina and causing inflammation.

Keep the vulva clean, bathe frequently with 1:5000 potassium permanganate solution, change underwear frequently, and temporarily refrain from sexual intercourse and bathing after taking the medicine. If there is a lot of mucus, you can scrub it with a small amount of soda water, or you can use 5% potassium dichromate, 20% to 40% silver nitrate. Western medicine treatment is effective quickly, but the disadvantage is that it is easy to relapse.
