What causes chronic adnexitis?

How is chronic adnexitis caused?

Chronic adnexitis refers to the general term for chronic or delayed infections in the female reproductive organs, uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries, related tissues around the ovaries, pelvic peritoneum, etc.

Chronic adnexitis:

Some clinical manifestations of chronic tubal dysplasia: lower abdominal pain, low fever with subacute onset, which may also be temporarily relieved, a sense of falling, sexual pain, repeated attacks, fatigue, sexual intercourse, and aggravation after menstruation. Long-term course of the disease may have neurosis, such as depression, fatigue, physical discomfort, insomnia, etc.

Causes of chronic adnexitis:

1. After childbirth or abortion, due to the decrease in body resistance, pathogens infect along the vagina and spread to the fallopian tubes and ovaries, and then spread to all pelvic cavities, causing inflammation. Or infection after pelvic cavity surgery, such as curettage, hysterosalpingography, fallopian tube fluid, intrauterine contraceptive device surgery, without strict disinfection or improper selection of preoperative indications, leading to the rise of endogenous pathogens in the lower reproductive tract, resulting in adnexitis, which is not effectively and thoroughly treated and then develops into chronic adnexitis.

2. Sitting for a long time and wearing tight clothes may cause vaginal airtightness, accumulation of vaginal excrement, and poor blood circulation in the lower limbs, affecting the normal detoxification function of the ovaries and appendages, causing inflammation, and causing appendage inflammation.

3. Do not pay attention to daily hygiene or menstrual hygiene. Usually the water should be used to clean the perineum and then the anus to prevent the bacteria from entering the vagina. Avoid using a bathtub during menstruation. At the same time, during menstrual period or unclean sexual behavior, bacteria will also invade the internal reproductive organs, which will also cause acute adnexitis.
