Pelvic effusion examination method

Pelvic effusion examination method

Pelvic effusion is a very common gynecological disease. Especially in recent years, as people's life pressure continues to increase, more and more female friends suffer from this disease. Severe pelvic effusion can lead to female infertility. Early detection and timely and effective treatment play an important role. So, what kind of examinations can help early diagnosis?

Pelvic effusion refers to the inflammatory exudate in the pelvic cavity, which is divided into physiological and pathological effusion. Many women have pelvic effusion. When women experience lower abdominal distension, pain, backache, and lower abdominal prolapse, they must pay attention to pathological pelvic effusion. It can be confirmed in the morning whether it is physiological effusion or causal effusion.

The main methods for examining pelvic effusion include the following:

1. Physical examination: The patient presents with acute illness and elevated body temperature. When pelvic inflammatory disease spreads to the abdominal cavity, they will generally have positive peritoneal irritation signs, tenderness, rebound pain and muscle tension in the whole abdomen, and weakened or absent bowel sounds.

2. Color Doppler ultrasound examination: To determine whether there is pelvic effusion, color doppler ultrasound examination is the preferred examination method.

3. B-ultrasound examination: The location of fluid accumulation often occurs in the lower part of the pelvic cavity such as the rectouterine pouch. B-ultrasound is a commonly used and effective examination method in gynecology, which can accurately determine the amount of fluid accumulation.

4. Posterior fornix puncture to extract effusion: It is one of the most commonly used and valuable methods for diagnosing pelvic effusion in gynecological acute abdomen. For example, there are also some normal peritoneal fluid, blood, purulent secretions or pus, which are all good for microscopic examination and culture of puncture objects.
