What causes adenomyosis? What should you pay attention to when you have adenomyosis?

Adenomyosis is a female disease in which the endometrium in a normal position invades the muscle wall benignly, presenting as a diffuse hyperplasia of the uterine myometrium with each menstrual period.

The causes of adenomyosis include:

1. Age factor. Adenomyosis is more common in women aged 40-50. Due to the decline of female ovarian function and the decrease of hormone secretion level, the endometrium thickens, which greatly increases the risk of adenomyosis.

2. Reproductive obstruction factors: if you suffer from congenital or acquired diseases, which cause obstruction of the female reproductive tract and inability of menstrual blood to flow out, it can cause adenomyosis.

3. Abortion or delivery surgery. Abortion surgery in women is an important cause of adenomyosis. Uterine surgery and improper operation can easily cause uterine diseases.

4. Abnormal progesterone. Studies have found that the incidence of this disease in multiparous women is higher than that in nulliparous women, which indicates that the disease is related to progesterone.

Adenomyosis is a type of endometriosis. The main symptoms of adenomyosis are dysmenorrhea, irregular menstruation, and infertility. Therefore, for a healthy and happy life in the future, adenomyosis must be treated as soon as possible. You should also adjust your optimistic and cheerful attitude to make your immune system function normally. Most importantly, you should refrain from sexual intercourse during menstruation, take good care of yourself, and control your emotions to avoid affecting your endocrine function.
