Some healthy women may accumulate a small amount of blood in the pelvic cavity during ovulation or menstruation, forming pelvic effusion. These effusions are usually physiological and most of them can disappear on their own.

Pelvic effusion cannot be fed during medication to avoid affecting the baby. Clinically, pelvic effusion indicated by B-ultrasound should be diagnosed and treated accordingly in combination with the patient's symptoms. For physiological pelvic effusion, when the patient has no obvious other accompanying symptoms, B-ultrasound examination can be performed 3 to 7 days after menstruation. Physiological pelvic effusion can be absorbed by itself and generally does not require special treatment.
