The harm of abortion

The harm of artificial abortion to women:

China is a country with a large number of artificial abortions. According to official data, there are 8-10 million artificial abortions per year in my country, with a trend of younger women; about half of them are unmarried; the proportion of young women under 25 who have never given birth is increasing; the number of artificial abortions is high; high-risk abortions account for more than one-third; and the rate of repeated abortions within six months is high. It takes the joint efforts of the whole society to reverse these severe situations. It is well known that artificial abortions are harmful to women's bodies, but what are the harms?

1. Physical injury: The most common injury is uterine perforation, intraoperative bleeding, poor uterine contraction, excessive bleeding during and after surgery, infection, incomplete treatment of preoperative inflammation, and poor postoperative resistance can all lead to postoperative infection. Uterine adhesions due to negative pressure suction may damage the endometrium, and there may be scanty menstruation and dysmenorrhea after surgery. Irregular menstruation may be caused by endocrine disorders and menstrual disorders, and surgery for dysmenorrhea may cause endometriosis, dysmenorrhea, and infertility. Postoperatively, inflammation and other factors may lead to fallopian tube obstruction, uterine adhesions lead to infertility, incomplete treatment of postoperative infection of pelvic inflammatory disease, and repeated attacks of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease.

2. Psychological harm: It may leave long-lasting psychological trauma, especially for young patients, who may suffer greater psychological harm.
