Precautions after ovarian chocolate cyst surgery

Precautions after ovarian chocolate cyst surgery:

Ovarian chocolate cysts are a hormone-dependent disease. As the menstrual cycle changes, the regulation of ovarian hormones is stimulated by various factors, and bleeding in the cyst wall and cysts recurs and generally does not disappear automatically. However, if some hormone-suppressing drugs are used, or in some special periods such as menopause and pregnancy, the cysts may reduce lesions due to the loss of hormone stimulation.

Generally speaking, ovarian chocolate cysts can be treated with medication and surgery. For medication, the indications are usually for patients with small ovarian cysts, no fertility requirements, and mild symptoms. For women with fertility requirements, if they are young, have good function, and have large cysts, it is generally recommended to actively get pregnant after surgery.

Ovarian chocolate cysts are actually ovarian endometriosis cysts. Due to endometriosis cysts, they bleed every month with the stimulation of menstrual estrogen. Slowly, blood accumulates in the cyst cavity and becomes very thick and very old. Its color is the same as the chocolate we eat, thick, brownish red or dark brown, and the liquid inside is very much like chocolate. In fact, it is an endometriosis cyst. As we said before, the three main symptoms of endometriosis cysts or ovarian chocolate cysts are pain, infertility, and lumps.
