What are the symptoms of secondary cervical erosion

What are the symptoms of secondary cervical erosion?

Moderate cervical erosion, also known as second-degree cervical erosion, refers to the erosion area accounting for one-third to two-thirds of the entire cervical area. If moderate cervical erosion is not treated in time, it will aggravate cervical inflammation and expand its erosion area.

1. The amount of vaginal discharge increases, and the discharge becomes yellow and sticky, or contains blood. A small number of women may also experience bleeding after sexual intercourse.

2. Long-term stimulation of vaginitis-induced leucorrhea may also cause symptoms of vulvar itching in women.

3. The cervical lymphatic system is directly connected to the paracervical connective tissue. Inflammation can spread to the pelvic cavity through the lymphatic circulation, leading to symptoms such as pelvic connective tissue inflammation, lumbar pain, and abdominal distension.

Cervical columnar epithelial ectopia is a new name for cervical erosion in recent years. In the past, many women paid too much attention to cervical erosion, so hospitals would also over-treat cervical erosion. Whether it is cervical erosion, cervical or columnar epithelial ectopia, as long as the cancer prevention examination does not find any abnormalities, most of them do not require treatment. If a woman is diagnosed with cervical columnar epithelial ectopia 2, TCT and HPV screening are required. The focus of these two screenings is to rule out cervical cancer. If the screening results are abnormal, cervical columnar epithelial ectopia does not require treatment. If you are really worried, you can consult a doctor to take anti-inflammatory drugs under the guidance of the doctor.
