What are the symptoms of ovulation bleeding?

Women's ovulation date is generally about 14 days before the next menstrual period. For safety reasons, we call the 5 days before ovulation and the 4 days after ovulation, including the ovulation day, a total of 10 days. The rest of the time except for menstruation is called the safe period. Why do many women bleed during ovulation? Ovulation bleeding, also known as mid-menstrual bleeding, refers to a small amount of bleeding between two normal menstrual periods, which may be accompanied by varying degrees of lower abdominal pain.

Clinical manifestations are as follows:

1. Uterine bleeding. During the ovulation cycle, uterine bleeding occurs during the ovulation period. The amount of bleeding is small, and some are just brown discharge. It usually stops on its own in 2-3 days, and the longest is 7 days.

2. Abdominal pain. The pain during menstruation can be severe and generally lasts for several hours, and in some patients it can last for 2-3 days.

3. Infertility. Sexual life may be stopped due to ovulation bleeding, and pregnancy may be missed. Note: Generally there are no obvious positive signs. Laparoscopy can be diagnosed by basal body temperature measurement after diagnostic curettage. The basal body temperature is biphasic, and bleeding occurs when the low and high temperatures change. If the symptoms are mild, no treatment is required. If the bleeding is heavy or affects fertility, medication can be used for treatment.
